The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast® is an extraordinary destination located in Southern California with expansive views of the Pacific Ocean. With Palladian-inspired architecture from Northern Italy, The Resort offers 204 Bungalow guest rooms and 128 Villas that give guests the feeling of a home away from home, along with world-class restaurants in classic al fresco settings, a luxurious spa and 6 holes of golf designed by Tom Fazio. As an added bonus, complimentary valet parking and wireless Internet access is offered to all guests. The Resort is located between the exclusive communities of Laguna Beach and Newport Beach with just a 15 minute drive from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, a 30 minute drive from Long Beach Airport and a 45 minute drive from Los Angeles International Airport.
Please note that if you travel during rush hour or peak driving times, your time on the road could be quite a bit longer. I suggest flight arrivals between 9am through 1pm and then again after 7pm to avoid the bulk of traffic.
Pelican Hill Resort does not offer shuttle service. There are plenty of options for ground transportation, from renting a car to taxis or you can reserve a shuttle:

Should you choose to rent a car, your Bungalow offers you free parking spaces just outside of your front door.
IMPORTANT
Your Bungalow Accomodations are included in the cost of your tuition under these terms:
- Rooms are either one king or two double. The double rooms are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
- Because there are limited double rooms available, we request that you take a king room if you are rooming with a close friend that you don't mind sharing a bed with or family member or personal friend.
- Rooms are based on double occupancy. Meaning if you want a private room for yourself or to share with your family or personal friend, you will need to pay additional fees
- Occupying a rooms under the cost of tuition requires that you share a room with a fellow student.
- If you have a friend who is also a student and would like to share a room, you are more than welcome to do so. You will both need to be registered to attend and you will both need to send us an email stating that you prefer to be together so that we can be sure the resort accommodates your request.
- If you don't state a preference you will be paired up with another student who is also not paired up.
- If you prefer a private room for yourself or to share with family or a friend, an additional charge of $530 will be added to the cost of your tuition. Please note that the additional cost for family or friends is for the room only and does not include meals or party admissions. For rates concerning these things please click HERE.
- Backstage Bridal Pro Academy is not responsible for the cost of room incidentals, including but not limited to, mini bar, in-room dining, damage to the room, movies rented, phone calls placed, or other instances where you might charge services to your room.
- You are required to provide the resort a copy of your debit or credit card and valid identification upon check in. If you are sharing a room, the hotel can add both your card and your roommate's card to the account to cover the cost of incidentals.
- 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom villas are available if you are traveling with your family. Please note that regular room rates apply for the villas.
