I'm wondering... when was the honest to goodness last time you took someone’s breath away?

The kind that leaves the person speechless. The kind made someone's knees weak. The kind that had them giddy inside and crying uncontrollable tears of joy. Think about it. When was it, really?

It’s gonna be like a soul-filling business-igniting slumber party, for grown-ups. And I can’t wait to share it with you.

FRIEND: {blank stare}

YOU: Hello, earth to my super fantastic friend. Are you with me?

FRIEND: *sniffles

YOU: Are you stoked or what?

FRIEND: Oh my goodness gracious me oh my! I can’t believe this! Holy cow! Sweet babycakes in a bucket! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

YOU: Just say you’re coming. I already booked our room.

FRIEND: Of course I’m coming! It’s just, I . . . there are no words. {silence}

YOU: I really can’t wait to be there, with you. {more silence}

FRIEND: I’m still in shock.

YOU: I’m kinda in shock, too. But I’m SO excited. See you in September, homie.

FRIEND: thankyouthankyouthankyou. You’re insane and amazing.

YOU:  I know. But you knew that already.
